Pre-Alpha Footage of Titanfall Shows The Game as a Work-In-Progress

MP1st - Curious to see what Respawn Entertainment’s triple-A Xbox and PC shooter, Titanfall, looked like early in development, as concepts for the game were just beginning to solidify?

wow looks better than the final.

I agree. However seems very generic looking without people jumping around from building to building. The franchise itself has potential to expand for the sequels. Let's hope they learned a thing or two after releasing the first one.

Yeah I agree. It definitely has a lot of potential, and I think that was part of the plan. You don't want to add everything from the outset so you leave some great additions and surprises for sequels.

I think of Assassin's Creed as a prime example. First one has great ideas, but it was bare bones. The sequel took that to the next level

crazy that.
it does look better than final release.
has tention and atmosphere.

would of made an awesome single player game

it must be pretty cool feeling to design a game and then see it in action

Crazyglues4080d ago

Oh yes, that must be an Awesome feeling...

-Wow thank god the gun didn't look like that, that would have been pretty generic and lame, plus having pilots with-out jet-packs and wall run just seems like a serious Mis-match for a titan.

-Really like the way the final game came out, I'm having a blast with it on my PC..

The more future look and features have really added an amazing feel to the game... Loving it right now.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g1012d ago (Edited 1012d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
