Titanfall Xbox One vs. Xbox 360 Comparison Video

Prima Staff (Prima Games): Here's some great news. Titanfall is finally available for Xbox 360. We'll take this a step further by proudly admitting the game holds its own against its Xbox One counterpart. Granted, corners were cut to put the game on Microsoft's older console. There's less detail, and the game stutters on occasion, but if all you have is a 360, the game is surprisingly smooth and of course, intensely fun to play.

Wow really close, excellent port they made on the 360

GarrusVakarian4035d ago

Gotta hand it to Bluepoint, they did a really good job with that port.

Largely unexpected. Outsourced last gen ports like that are typically very meh. But this one looks really solid!

Video is saying that Xbox One version runs at a steady 60FPS when it has been proven to have an average framerate of 45FPS and dips into the single digits.

sigfredod4035d ago

yeah i don't understand why they said that when has been reported for the xbone users already and prove it by DF

forcefullpower4035d ago

The comment I thought was the most odd was at the end where he says how good the 360 look since the hardware is far apart.

360 - 600
XB1 - 792

I think that is pretty poor. Maybe they should have given the xbox one port to bluepoint and respawn done the 360 version.

To be fair, it's an Xbox One/PC game being tailored to run on a 360. I think that's pretty good given what the developer had to work with.

MasterCornholio4035d ago

I heard it drops to the 30s but not single digits.

yankolo4035d ago

If u have titanfall...u boughted already on xbox one right...they should let u download it on 360 4free

Xbone looks better but it was a well done port.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
