Will Project Spark Actually Be Free? Revisited

In January, IM PLAYIN asked the question 'will Project Spark actually be free?'. Now that they've had a chance to play the beta and have got to grips with the creating process as well as the micro-transactions feature, they've revisited the question.

"In fairness to the game, there is an absolute multitude of things that you can do and create without having to spend any money. You can pretty much build whatever you can imagine in the free game, (providing that what you’re imagining sticks to the free content), and you can even play other people’s created content. Micro transactions, Micro transactions, Micro transactions.
I would rather pay for the entire thing up front and have a good game than pay for this and that while I am playing. Just my opinion though.

Not true. You can unlock all items by simply playing. Nothing is locked away. You earn credits by everything you do.

If you knew what you were talking about and maybe read the article you would know instead of reading a headline and talking nonsense.

Just my opinion though.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Micro Transactions are micro transactions. Hate em. Even though you can play the game to get the items, I still would rather just play the game without having someone ram MT in my face. ")

Will it require XBLGold?

TedCruzsTaint1677d ago

I don't think there's any doubt there.

Francis21677d ago

Actually it won't require Xbox Gold. Just silver. Will require an internet connection though.
