From Vault of the Gameverse:
"That, and I was real tired of killing bots. I just didn't care. Bots here, bots there, bots everywhere. And they're so easy to kill. In the meantime, I was trying to play a multiplayer game...
Then… I finally tried something Respawn had been tweeting about for a day or two. “How many Spectres have you hacked?”, they would ask. Upon my first “hacking” of a Spectre (which was unfortunately in the last hour or two of the Beta) was when I completely fell in love and thought, “Please give me more bots!!!” Seriously."
In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
Bots didn't bother be none,
I understood their purpose.
No issue for me.
I wasn't aware that the specters will follow you around. They don't do much damage against pilots, but they are effective against titans. If i would have realized I could lead a gang of them, I would have tried hacking a few.
Overall, I didn't play a single game where bot kills decided the outcome, so their inclusion in the game doesn't bother me at all. I think they add a nice touch... like the NPC cannon fodder that fights along side you in a SP game.
Give me a break! The silliness of some journalist writters is just overwhelming!
Wait a freaking minute here , those were bots I was killing?.....DAMNIT ! I thought I was a beast at that game....
Lol at the excuses for ai that is so stupid it's pointless. Titanfall + smart pistol + grunts= the Nubiest online game I've ever played. It's too bad the game had such potential until they added the ai bots that just prove ms cloud is a joke. If this game was on ps4 I'd still be saying the same thing. No game can be considered competitive with ai bots that huddle in groups crouching looking at the ground and can't hit you with a bullet if you standed still. Titanfall game ends....check scoreboard.....30 grunt kills......6 pilot kills........wtf.
Take away the ai bots and smart pistol add 8 vs 8 or 10 vs 10 with little bigger maps and add a perk system where you actually have to earn a Titan with skill.
