The game is awesome. Been playing all day solid, until just now where a bug in the servers are currently being worked on. Wonderful stuff.

I agree, I was surprised by how fun the game is. The only "flaw" I can find in it is that it's so chaotic that even a complete FPS noob like me can get kills a bit too easy. And I mean pilot kills, not grunt kills.

Seriously, I'm so bad at FPS games that if you get killed by me you should be as ashamed as if you were killed by a grunt.

jimbobbeers4138d ago

I agree to an extent, how kills seem rather easy against other pilots, but I rarely find myself thinking I've been hard done by myself. So I just assume they suck, not me lol.

WeAreLegion4138d ago

That's sort of what they want though. You can't get addicted to something unless you win sometimes.

Finally! I just got my beta code, lol I was worried, damm so happy be home in about 1hr to play Titanfall.

Im actually enjoying this game as well. However, I find there is a lot of graphical glitches. Even with AA off, the graphics end up tripping out after a few minutes, still playable, just can't really see. Maybe its because im using 24xEQ AA with supersampling with a hardware override.

JsonHenry4138d ago

So far this is "fun" but I don't see it being competitive enough. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are awesome on PC maxed out for a Source engine game.

The only problem is if you thought CoD was a FPS with training wheels you're going to feel this game is a FPS with you in a stoller that takes no skill at all to play.

The player count really needs to be higher. The bots are just not the same no matter how good/bad the AI is.

pyramidshead4138d ago

thought they had 300Ks worth of delicious server goodness, what gives?

WeAreLegion4138d ago

No. Microsoft has 300,000 servers that can be used by anyone, including Sony. The Xbox division is using an untold number of those though.

Phoenix764138d ago

Actually a lot of those servers are virtual, not physical for the XB1. Basically meaning the 1 server is split to act as 4, if you catch my drift.

loulou4138d ago (Edited 4138d ago )

There is no problems that I have encountered with the servers

They are very smooth, and you don't feel the need to look at kill cam because you were unfairly killed because of the lag..... Love themserver side calculations.

The thread title is just the usual hit getting nonsense from abriael

GUTZnPAPERCUTZ4138d ago

It's Bug in game, not a server side issue -_-

KillerPwned4138d ago (Edited 4138d ago )

I had played a few matches but I cant get any servers at all now. I'm on the PC beta.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad1009d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g1009d ago (Edited 1009d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
