TitanFall Composer Stephen Barton Calls Game An Immensely Fast, Kinetic Experience

As part of their upcoming Feb. 2014 magazine, Skewed and Reviewed have posted selection of their interveiw with composer Stephen Barton. Barton talks about the multiplay only game and expalins how fast and dynamic it is and says it is very different from Call of Duty and other shooters.

Barton also talks about his working on the upcoming game TitanFall as well as his career in the interview.

It has nothing to do with kinect. You are reading it wrong or is it understanding it wrong. He is talking about a kinectic experience not a kinect experience.

That would be funny. Running in place, raising your finger gun and making shooting noices. Then stomping like the Hulk when in mech mode. All the while it is taking video of you and sending it online and then the Feds classify you a risk based on your erratic and violent behavior. You try to get on the plane to Comic Con or PAX and get a real suprise.

That would of course be the worst-case scenario.

Not to be to morbid but can you imagine the EA offices if all the pre-orders started to vanish as they need this one to work well at launch and be good. They cannot afford another BF 4 and Sim City at the moment.

I will be playing it on PC. I hope that A, EA releases a stable game light on bugs, and that B, the game has a good control system that is responsive. I do not want gameplay decided purely on twitch factor.

I am starting to lean to a wait and see on it due to EA's issues. Plus their P.R. firm is great on blowing off reviewers saying oh, demands are to high, thanks for all the pre launch coverage but we are not sending review units. Now the games are bombing they are hiding and not nearly so vocal. we have heard far more from the music publicity team than we have for the full game.

I would like to know more about the gameplay. I know it is online only and such but if it is just deathmatches and such that could get old quickly no matter how fun it is. They need to have some versatility to them as well as missions to make it complelling. I love team DM and other modes but if that is all there is, then gamers should get more for $59.99 in my opinion like team based missions beyond capture this, recover this, eliminate that.
