Hardcore Gamer: Watch your step, for you’ve just entered the Graveyard. Inside, we’ll be digging up games that have long been without a pulse. You’ll see both good and bad souls unearthed as we search through the more… forgotten… parts of history.
Ken McKown writes: The From A to Z series lets our editors go back and take a look at games from past generations that are classics, overlooked gems, or just titles they remember fondly. The idea behind this is to pick five games from each letter of the alphabet, once a week to showcase. This delivers 26 weeks and 130 games to talk about. Hopefully it sparks some conversation, and of course plenty of memories.
Our first series will focus on Sony’s first entry into the console business, the PlayStation.
Let’s continue with the letter “P”.
PARASITE EVE!
I really would like to see a PS4/X1 sequel. What an original and unique RPG. Like Chrono Trigger, this is a game that has never been replicated in style and gameplay and I would love to see it get a true next installment.
My favorite "P" PS1 game has to be Policenauts. Man, that system has so many great games. Truly one of the best systems of all time and made me a PS fan ever since.
GG3 keeps up with the latest releases from Steam. Amidst the slew of indie games and smaller titles to drop this week, the PS1 classic Pandemonium! has suddenly appeared. In case anyone was waiting for it, there it is, in original state.

"With 2013 shaping up to be a great year for gaming – and rumors of new hardware ever looming – we think it would a great time to exhume some of gaming’s long-forgotten gems for another shot, whether that be on current machines or PlayStation 4/Xbox 720. Sure, we don’t expect more than an announcement this year, but to know they’re coming is enough to satisfy our high expectations."
Oh man I totally had this game on the N-Gage.
classic.
awesome PS1 game, love both 1 & 2.
