Armored Core: Verdict Day is basically a multiplayer expansion for the original Armored Core V that came out last year. That game also had multiplayer, but was a more traditional AC game, with an emphasis on the single player campaign, and a promising multiplayer component that fell victim to not having enough players to sustain matches. Verdict Day comes to AC fans one year later offering the reverse; a simplistic single player campaign has been tacked on to a very elaborate multiplayer mode. In that regard, Verdict Day works. Unfortunately, it’s strictly in that regard that the game has any value.

It might show up differently on phones or whatever, but on my phone those last two words are cut out when seeing the article on the front page, and only show up when you click on it and see the full title, lol.

I kinda suspect Tomb Raider will appear on Games with Gold at some point to build up enthusiasm for the next one, but it's a good game well worth that price if you haven't played it...
