Pretendo: "I know, A Link to the Past is still a classic and a masterpiece. There’s no doubt that Ocarina of Time revolutionized the series and created many gaming standards we still use today. Obviously, Majora’s Mask was the darkest Zelda. Twilight Princess was a solid entry with the more “mature” look to it; and Skyward Sword’s motion controls put me in a new level of immersion. But of all the Zelda games, I put Wind Waker above the rest."
Relive the golden age of gaming with these timeless video games. From Wind Waker to Monkey Island, get ready for a nostalgia-filled ride.
I'd put Street Fighter 2 over 3. 2 and all its different versions dominated the arcade scene back in the day in a way that 3 never did.
Ms Pacman?
Robotron?
SSF2 Turbo over 3 simply by the 10000000000's ports of the game we're still having
Castlevania SOTN?
Zelda Link to the Past over Wind Waker
Super Mario Bros 3?
Chrono Trigger?
Resident evil4?
COD MW2 (the original)?
Uncharted 2
Metal Gear Solid?
Here's my reasoning for all of them versus the list proposed in the article.
They are still quite enjoyable from start to finish on their original platform, unlike some Wind Waker or Okami that are fun when you play the remastered version (unless you call: forced to watch a 20-minute cutscene or have to blow for wind chance constantly fun).
Some of them are the pinnacle of what the console could do (MGS, Chrono, MGS)
Lots of them are still considered the go-to-go game for their genre.
Major 2023 game anniversaries include The World Ends With You, Mario Kart Wii, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, among many others
20 years later, The Wind Waker’s Ganondorf is still The Legend of Zelda’s best villain.
Wind Waker is amazing and I can definitely see why people can call it their favorite.
Wind Waker might be my favorite it's that or Ocarina, they are both just fantastic games, it's hard for me to choose.
Link to the past then wind waker for me.
I just love the alternate world thing. Loved it in Castlevania:SotN too.
I know that it was just a way to extend the game while saving memory/disc space or whatever, pallet switching, but it still made that game that much more fun to see the whole world in a different aspect.
I love Cell-shaded graphics and bought wind waker on day 1. Some of the long ship rides got boring while searching but beyond that it was a fun game and the animation were enjoyable in their cute nature.
That said I'd like to see a Wii-u Zelda with a mature tone to Links appearance.
Ocarina of Time
Link to the Past
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess
my least favorite was Majora's Mask.
