Nick Bristow of ThriftyNerd says, "If you just used one or the other, you will be completely satisfied, but when you pick up the Xbox One controller, quickly followed by the Dual Shock 4, it's immediately noticeable how good the DS4 feels in your hands. The DS4 has finally given up its baggage of past controller design and moved on to something spectacular. And that's really my point here, it's not that Microsoft has screwed up, it's that Sony has created something awesome. These two controllers are very different and I will need to spend a lot more time with them to see if my opinion changes, but at the moment, I’m giving it to Sony."
AMD CEO Lisa Su talks about the Xbox AMD partnership, next-gen Ryzen + Radeon chips, and AI rendering tech coming to all Xbox devices.
AMD is really building hype around their unique partnership with Microsoft to help and build an advanced and seamless Xbox ecosystem across all Xbox consoles and devices.
I wonder what she meant by "full roadmap of gaming optimized chips" though? Seems ambitious.
Next year´s Xbox Showcase already looks promising and exciting. Here´s hoping they deliver.
Some odd, deliberate wording, no branding, not 'Xbox consoles, Xbox handhelds' specifically, feels and sounds like they're building towards hardware that anyone can be used or licensed to/by themselves and other manufacturers.
Multiplatform software and hardware 'Xbox/AMD APU'.
Shares vision....we provide chips for money, this deal will sell many chips, we will make lots of money...good vision
The marketing behind this is so heavy that I worry about the actual outcome. Why are they just not showing us the product, why all this talking in market speak?
With the launch of Call of Duty Season 4, Activision quietly put adverts inside loadouts for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, sparking a backlash in the process.
Putting Ads in a pay-to-play Premium title? Well done Microsoft. Well done /s This is really scummy.
Xbox's handheld ambitions continue unabated, but the focus is shifting towards improving Windows 11 for third-party handhelds — for now. The Xbox Series X 'Melrose' successor is safe, with development continuing at full pace.
Funny to see the alt already damage controlling and having a meltdown with multiple accounts in the comments already.
Sad for MS if true, a dedicated handheld would go down a lot better than a rog ally 2 with an Xbox sticker on it I think.
1. touchpad
2. speakers
3. better analog sticks.( they dont slip like xbox ones )
4. the dualshock 4 analog sticks are placed right and left for human beings.
5. better triggers
6. better cosmetic look.
7. no aa batteries
8. move compatibility
9. grip on bottom
10. recharges while your away.
I was going for more of a "how does it feel to use" approach rather than a feature comparison.
"If you just used one or the other, you will be completely satisfied, but when you pick up the Xbox One controller, quickly followed by the Dual Shock 4, it's immediately noticeable how good the DS4 feels in your hands.''
I recall how great the triggers felt myself, and with all that tech i was kind of thinking it would feel claustrophobic but it didnt. and when i navigabled the ds4 it was seemless. those are my ''feel'' impressions.
I just want it in my hands already.
I kind of all DS controllers to be better then the ones on other consoles to be honest. The DS controller for me is an all rounder controller great for a variety of games with different genres. The Xbox 360 controller for example is only better for FPS in my opinion. I mean I'm not saying the DS3 or any other DS didn't have it's faults but they were still better in my opinion. You get these people though that said the DS was too small but to be honest that came out of no where since no one complained about it being too "small" back when the PS1 came out or even the PS2.
Shame Nintendo with the Wii U didn't have a updated gamecube style one for it's main controller
