ZOMGPlay's article of them unboxing the 'GAME Exclusive Pokémon Rumble U Special Edition Bundle":
"Nintendo’s attempt at combining toy figures with a game has finally arrived in the form of Pokemon Rumble U, a Wii U ‘Digital Download’ exclusive, however unlike Skylanders or Disney Infinity the ‘NFC Figures’ (which are scanned into the game via the Wii U Gamepad) do not need to be purchased to enjoy the game as they can be acquired in-game through grinding and hardwork."
Their business practices aren’t perfect, but Nintendo makes games like nobody else. But they also have their fair share of games that nobody played.
Remember "toys"? Those things kids used to play with back in the day, before video games? Well Disney and Nintendo sure do. AUTOMATON's Graham Arthur reports on NFC toys, new and upcoming developments in the field, some of the issues they've faced so far, and some of the issues bound to arise. (Part 2 of 2)
Scanning amiibo for games they're not intended for produces some rather interesting results, as one fan's experiment shows with Pokémon Rumble U.
Wow I almost forgot about this game.... hmmmmm it seems we might have pokemon balls coming soon?
