"The reason why I keep mentioning Nano Assault and FRL is because both of those games are actually only 40MB in size. They were both small, downloadable titles for their respective systems that were only 40MB and they look that good."

I never knew that. I'm currently hinking about downloading Nano Assault Neo, that game looks fantastic. Can't wait to see their new game, looking forward to it.

Nano Assault Neo is great fun. Not an extremely deep game, but still provides lots of fun and the visuals are top notch.

Shin-en is really good on nintendo platforms. they had some good shmups like the iridion series, nanostray series and now the Nano Assault series.

fast racing league is a really good wipeout style game that pays tribute to that series. If anyone knows how to code for a nintendo platform....its them.

Shinen say please don't praise us for nano assault visuals as they are nothing to what wiiu can actually do ????

Well a shader program isn't always above 1 mb. Anything generated by code will reduce "assets" by size.

I do believe Nano Assault is using shaders and post processing heavily .

( not that it's a bad thing, it looks awesome )

Good stuff, can't wait to see how well their next game turns out.

It's impressive to think that they got those kind of visuals from Nano Assault Neo and they say that it wasn't even optimized properly and they were only utilizing 1 of the 3 Wii U cores. Imagine what the game could look like using all 3?

EP Review: Fast RMX - Switch - GameEnthus

It’s the REMIX!

+ fast racing, nice visuals
+ fun polarity system
+ good multiplayer options, local and online
+ variety of vehicles and tracks
– never really found a good use leaning
– crashing into walls sometimes felt too inevitable(this may be leaning related)

Fast RMX Review

The Fast series is somewhat of a spiritual successor to F-Zero, a Nintendo franchise that has been long forgotten by Nintendo itself. If Nintendo won't develop any more games in the series, at least Shin'en is trying...but have their efforts ended up being worth it? Let's dig in.
