GaminRealm: "Shin’en, the creators of Nano Assault, FAST Racing League, and the Art of Balance series, are reportedly preparing their 2nd-generation engine for the Wii U. This information has surfaced via Twitter when Shin’en replied to an inquiry I made about the reveal of their two mystery games."
Shin'en Multimedia, the developer behind Nintendo Switch launch title Fast RMX, has teased an upcoming announcement for the console.
It’s the REMIX!
+ fast racing, nice visuals
+ fun polarity system
+ good multiplayer options, local and online
+ variety of vehicles and tracks
– never really found a good use leaning
– crashing into walls sometimes felt too inevitable(this may be leaning related)
The Fast series is somewhat of a spiritual successor to F-Zero, a Nintendo franchise that has been long forgotten by Nintendo itself. If Nintendo won't develop any more games in the series, at least Shin'en is trying...but have their efforts ended up being worth it? Let's dig in.
"The reason why I keep mentioning Nano Assault and FRL is because both of those games are actually only 40MB in size. They were both small, downloadable titles for their respective systems that were only 40MB and they look that good."
I never knew that. I'm currently hinking about downloading Nano Assault Neo, that game looks fantastic. Can't wait to see their new game, looking forward to it.
Good stuff, can't wait to see how well their next game turns out.
It's impressive to think that they got those kind of visuals from Nano Assault Neo and they say that it wasn't even optimized properly and they were only utilizing 1 of the 3 Wii U cores. Imagine what the game could look like using all 3?
I want them to make a NBA game
