411mania - Every year we hear the same thing from EA Sports around this time of the year, “NCAA is the best yet,” and “Madden is the best it has ever been.” Most of the time, it is a slight roster update or slightly better graphics, but the game play is normally the same. This year NCAA brings a different feel all together. This title is one of the best of the series, if not the best. Let’s look at some of the changes and improvements.
Chances are, your video game collection probably has at least one EA Sports title in it. From the latest Madden, FIFA, and NHL releases of today to the MVP Baseball and NCAA Football releases of yesteryear, EA Sports has long held the gold standard for sports video games, and continues to dominate the market.
Judging from the list, EA's best days are behind them and I'm inclined to agree. And now that I think about it, EA only holds the "gold standard" because there aren't any other developers around their sports monopoly.
As for NHL '94... I loved that game. It seemed every time I headed over to my friend's place we would have to play his copy eventually. Now I kinda wanna play it since I haven't in... well, a long time.
FIFA 13 was the last EA Sports game i enjoyed. Everything has been rubbish since then.
True, but the fudged up the controls in the last one so they were already on the road to ruin.

I loved the way they did the high school to the NFL Draft between NCAA Football and Madden.
Snoop Dogg loves NCAA Football 14. How much does he love it? He loves it so much that he wants to play it all over again on his Xbox One.
And he wants some help to make it happen.
Snoop has asked his followers on Twitter and Instagram to help get his fave Xbox 360 game added to the Xbox One's back compatibility service.
In fact, he's asked them quite a lot - he's tweeted about it every day for nearly a week.
Thankfully, Xbox community manager Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has finally noted Snoop's plea. "We'll be sure you add your request to the list," he replied.
Good on him. This is why BC is such a good addition to current gen, we get to experience our favourite games of last gen without paying a cent (assuming you still own them ofc.).
I'm glad that more and more people, both fans and execs alike, are noticing what he is doing. This is what it's all about and it's great for us consumers.
If u already bought the game on 360 then u surely DID pay "a cent" or two.

Fans should be clamouring for the last 2k baseball game to have bc considering xbone has no baseball game.
You do realize last gen was fully alive for 8 years, 8 years of games is not exactly easy to ignore after a mere 2 years. As time passes the more likely people will want to reexperience nostalgic moments or try past gems rises, after all the new shiny console experience can only last so long. There are all these HD cashins for a reason.
Take your PS blinders off for a minute and you'll see there's value value in BC for new XB1 owners and for 360 owners. It let's new owners play Xbox franchises they missed and parents of 360 owners don't have to buy all new games if they can keep their 360 games. Both options lead to new system sales.
Just because PS4 can't run BC doesn't mean it's not a good idea.

-Wonder no more as Sony, for whatever reason, took out the UC2 MP that you love on the UC remaster. Wouldn't it also be nice to know you can still play online with your PS3 Version of UC2 and with the added bonus of playing against PS3 owners as well?

LOL, you pretty much owned yourself with that comment since what you wish would've had happened on PS4 is just that..a dream at this point; on the flip side, people that think about those very same thing for X360 games can in fact...have their dream come true and without any additional fees required. :)
You and many that are hating a great feature like BC are just salty because it is not on the brand you support..it is just that simple; in another word, lets hate it on the other console that has it and if it is not on my console, then it is a useless feature but I love to be able to play UC3 again and hopefully screenshot frature of the PS4 is included. Smh

I'll never understand how some on here will defend remasters to the tooth and nail and throw out excuses like, "for those who never owned a PS3" or "I want to play it again" but then run into a Xbox BC article and put down how much this feature isn't necessary and no one uses BC.

Agreed I just need Red Dead to complete me as I've not played through that campaign and I can't wait to do it on my X1.
If snoop Lion loves something, then you know it is an exciting feature to have. BC is a HUGE people.
Can't wait to play mass effect again in BC, I hope they bring the whole trilogy over as I played each of the mass effects on different platforms so is like to have my saves brought over in the next games for a change

Backwards compatibility on X1 is a great feature to have.
I think this is adorable. Now if we can get Snoop to push for Condemned 1 and 2, Mortal Kombat 9, and Mass Effect 2 and 3.
I always enjoy these games more than madden. More teams to choose from, can create my own conferences with all my own teams as I can't stand about 80% of other college teams.
I love the recruiting and the fact that every game matters.
The best part is getting new players every year and they can only be with you for 4/5 years. This keeps things fresh as you constantly have to think about both the future....4/5 years from now, and also the present.
I'll pick this up once the price drops a bit.
