Man PS4 is set to be a beast.I have yet to see one DEV talk bad about it.It's been nothing but praise.

GOOD JOB SONY!

Pisque4380d ago

It's sure going to be better than PS3... So I guess we'll get to see better multiplatforms ports on this Sony console.

But don't underestimate Microsoft's capacity to optimise their console's power.

@Pisque
"But don't underestimate Microsoft's capacity to optimise their console's power."

You're right, they are doing rocket science stuff, lmao.

RiPPn4380d ago

Better multiplat ports? I'd be willing to bet it becomes the lead platform.

Drekken4380d ago

They sure do have all them there transistors!

Mark Cerny just did a stage conference earlier today. He was talking about the Playstation history and how on PS1 it took 1-2 months to get a working graphical skeleton, PS2 took 3-6 months, and PS3 took 6-12 months.

On PS4, it takes 1-2 months to get a working graphical skeleton, just like the PS1 days.

That is quite exciting. Expect BIG things from the PS4.

UNGR4380d ago

No developers are talking badly about any of the consoles, except the Wii-U, poor Wii-U.

Hicken4380d ago

There's a difference between not talking badly, and actively praising.

KwietStorm_BLM4380d ago

What the hell you had 12 agrees, and when I clicked it it went to 22 lol

Really hope there's more than 3D, realistic games on the system.

-Mika-4380d ago

That what indies games are for. Making an retail cartoon animated platformer just isn't worth the investment.

longcat4380d ago

unless you're Nintendo

SniperControl4380d ago

Where do you think all the big studios started? Indie's are the future, one of these days these guys will be the next Naughty Dog, Bungie or Guerrilla games. I for one am happy that they are under Sony's nurturing wing. It will be these guys who bring the next big IP or the new big innovation.

They are definitely worth the investment by Sony.

ApolloTheBoss4380d ago

5 more months... 5 more damn months.

PositiveEmotions4380d ago

Dont say that man ;( its gonna feel longer now ;(

Lockhart4380d ago

Focus on your current console in the meantime... it'll work out fine. You can do this.

Destrania4380d ago

Play The Last of Us and you'll be alright ;-)

Lockhart4380d ago (Edited 4380d ago )

On a more serious note, if you find yourself a bit bored, go lurking around and pick up some cheap preowned games. There's some amazing titles out there that you might not have played for close to nothing.

I'll be playing catch-up with the Assassins Creed and Fallout series as embarrassingly, I haven't played either. Both can be bought cheap.

ApolloTheBoss4380d ago (Edited 4380d ago )

Lol believe me I'm far from bored, what with a huge backlog on the PS3 and a PS plus subscription. I just want the thing to release already so I can know all the features and perks that go with it. Also to know if there re any bugs that need working out. I just want to know everything about it! And it finally releasing will give me that.

NihonjinChick4380d ago (Edited 4380d ago )

He brought up a good point. The PS3 was powerful but making games for it was difficult.
I hope it's easier on the PS4.

Off topic:Why do they call themselves GaijinEntertainment? Outsider/ForeignerEntertainmen t?

DecoyOctopus4380d ago (Edited 4380d ago )

"Why do they call themselves GaijinEntertainment?" as a joke? maybe...

millgate14380d ago (Edited 4380d ago )

Well you could ask any company why their name is what it is :P The company is Russian if that helps. Try to not get them confused with Gaijin Games, two completely different studios.

Pillsbury14380d ago

Easier to develop for, focus on gamers, indie support and even more awesome exclusives. Playstation will be stronger than ever come next gen.
