505 Games recently revealed that the latest project from Overkill Software, a Starbreeze Studio, would no longer be limited to a digital-only release, with a retail edition of Payday 2 also set to be available for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Payday 2 is sequel to the 2011 hit Payday: The Heist, and will be available this summer presented within the box art featured below.

For starters, the disparity between the game’s PC and console versions is a major issue that plagued the game for years on end, thanks to the frustrating optimization issues across platforms brought about by the Diesel Engine, which the game was developed on."
Payday 2 launched 10 years ago today, and a constant stream of updates still makes it worth playing ahead of Payday 3.
