No it wouldn’t matter it wouldn’t bring in enough profit to offset their 100 billion dollar acquisition. It would maybe delay the inevitable by some months.
I would f*cking think so. Good games are what draws people to your platform. It’s why I adored the 360 era with Gears of War being one of the highlights for me. You make sh*t games and it just makes your platform that much worse and you start gobbling up studios I like and then killing them off it also makes me hate your platform as well… just sayin’
Unless the game would’ve been War Zone, or Fortnite level. No. Maybe even Hell divers 2 I doubt would’ve been enough.
No it would not have, the ABK deal was great for Microsoft but horrible for Xbox. Over 100 billion dollars in acquisitions. That money has to be made back. That ABK deal essentially destroyed Xbox as we know it.

Better Option: Do what I did, find a girl you like and turn them into a gamer. My fiance had only really like Snowboarding Kids and Mario Party when we met, now in the past month she, by a miracle or satan, beat the intro level of Dark Souls. You just gotta figure out what kinda games they like and find ways to inspire them to try new games. I told her I would buy her anything she wanted, basically a new car, if she beat Dark Souls. After 2 months she still hasn't gotten far in Dark souls though.
My fear is she will turn Into Penny like in the WoW Big Bang Theory episode. As it is she's never even played Mario. I shit you not. But she has seen me play Infamous and was all, "hey do those grenade things again! Over there is a guy get him! Watch out! You missed a shard!!!". I know if she ever picked up a controller it would be all over. I will never show her Journey. I would never see her again.
But it's much more deeper than that. Politics, religion, if a couple simply does not share common goals or priorities it's over. & I'm tellin you it's hard as hell, I'm not mainstream at all.
