Gaming Nexus writes: First things first, God of War: Chains of Olympus is one of the best games you are going to find for the PSP and the folks at Ready At Dawn have done an amazing job of bringing the God of War experience to the PSP. Not only have they delivered and exceptional looking game but they've crafted a phenomenal story to go along with it.
The folks at Ready at Dawn have the God of War formula down pat, possibly too pat. Every signature item from the previous games is in there (including the sex mini-game) but I wish that Ready at Dawn had added something new the canon rather than just re-using what's been done in the past. There are a few new touches here and there (including some great moments at the end of the game) but outside of those small things the game feels a bit too familiar. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but at times you do feel like you've played the game before.
The game took me just under six hours to complete on the normal difficulty level and with the exception of one area I didn't have any trouble with any of the puzzles in the game.
The must play PSP Games every gamer will enjoy.
Kratos has been on a rampage, killing Gods in epic battles since 2005. With each release managing to offer high-octane action, I explore each God of War title and rank every adventure from his journey to Olympus to his Norse tales of fatherhood.
I won’t rank Ragnarok just yet, although it is honestly leaving me and my wife blown away…won’t go into details right now, not done as I assume others aren’t either, maybe some of you are, idk haha.
But here’s how I rank them
5. God of War 3
4. God of War Ascension.
3. God of War 1.
2. God of War 2.
1. God of War 2018.
1. God of war 3
2. God of war 2018
3. God of war 2
4. God of war 1
Haven't played the others but about 30 hrs In to ragnarock now so safe to say if it keeps up it will end up being at the top of my list when I'm done.
I will say the pacing of the original titles and the epic feel to them I feel is way better than the new one’s. Like, I could recognize and appreciate the praise God of War received, but it bores me to tears except for the pivotal moments.
However, that being said I feel Ragnarok is waaaaay better than 2018. I’m only on Ch. 6, but it’s pretty much rocked my face off from the get-go.
I’m really split between this being my GotY or Elden Ring.
I think different games in the series had different strengths but all are great. I liked the original as it was an origin story and the mechanics were fresh. The sequel added smoother gameplay. Three was just so far ahead of it's time graphically it wasn't even funny. Plus great gameplay and bosses and insane gore and nice use of sexy time. The reboot was cool but lost a lot of what I liked about the original trilogy (I don't need my games grown up, just fun). Will wait and see with ragnarok as haven't had time to play it yet.
BLG writes: "After many rumors, PlayStation has finally announced its new subscription service. With it comes the promise of over 340 PS Plus games to play on the highest subscription tier. We can expect to see games from the original PlayStation, PS2, and PSP generations plus cloud streaming of PS3 games."
Should change that headline to: "Old School Titles We Definitely Aren't Going to Get In the New PS Plus Subscription"
Rising Zan because Pushman is the best voice acted boss in the history of gaming.
Konami RPGs---Ring of Red, Azure Dreams and Suikoden.
Thousand Arms, Ogre Battle, Tactics Ogre, Persona 1, both Persona 2 and Persona 3 from Atlus.
Any of those would make me happy. Ogre Battle and Azure Dreams the happiest.

We don’t buy new consoles to play old games.
PlayStation community now:
Here’s a list of old games we wanna play now that we might be able to on our new consoles
Hmm, I always play normal difficulty because my gaming windows are so short, the hard ones don't allow me to finish levels on time. But I'll be sure to put this on a harder one to extend the experience when I get it!
