Too slow, too short, too annoying. Only the graphics have any real quality. Stick with Sonic And The Secret Rings, or even Excite Truck if you don't mind the lack of hedgehog.

Actually I am in my 20's and have gone back and played many of the Sonic games made, personally I find a lot of the older games to be absolutely awful with a particular nod to the original Sonic the Hedgehog. I know a good game when I play it and the games on my list and ones that are truly great and the pinnacle of the Sonic experience.
Well. I guess an opinion is an opinion.
But just because you can't make it through a game doesn't make it bad.

1. Sonic Adventure
2. Sonic 2
3. Sonic and Knuckles
4. Sonic 3
5. Sonic the Hedgehog 1991
That's pretty much my list, only I'd put S&K and Sonic 3 at 1 and 2. And maybe drop Adventure for Sonic Chaos for GameGear/Master System, I had so much fun with that game.
