9 of these are Not For Resale versions, so no, you probably don't own these. I own them, but not the NFR versions.

Mario Kart and Super Mario 64 still look good

OtterX50d ago

Moreso than just the graphics, I am actually blown away by how fluid Mario controls in Mario 64. It still feels good by modern standards. The camera though certainly didn't age well.

To me, these are still best experienced on a CRT bc the blur really did give a more rounded edge illusion, as if they were actually higher poly than they really were. Playing then on sharp HD screens of today rob you of that, and really make things look like cardboard boxes. The consoles of that era were built around tvs of the time, so that's why you see so many retroheads seeking out Trinitrons or other tvs of the time to fully get the most out of the games.

I have an old Panasonic tube tv from my grand parents I used it to play retro time to time. Still have fun reliving those old memories. The tv is heavy as hell but it does what I ask it to do. I did buy some HDMI cables for my Genesis and SNES to play on my flat screen Sony HDTV. Surprisingly the cables do a good job with my Genesis and SNES.

I definitely agree about Hybrid Heaven. But although it's not N64 exclusive, Shadows of the Empire should be on that list.
