Battlefield 3: Aftermath Review | Invert-On

Invert-On: "Brown. That’s the right word. Brown. If any other word sums up Battlefield 3’s latest map pack, that’s it. Oh, and earthquakes. That’s another good one. You really do have to see it to believe it. Brown earthquakes aside though, DICE’s latest DLC, Aftermath, is a confusing addition to an otherwise brilliant game."

Season Pass Review: Battlefield Premium

Ben Gray, VGTODAY: "Battlefield Premium was introduced as a response to rival Call of Duty’s Elite; with a price tag that verges close on equalling the base game itself, it promised access to all five expansions and a fair load of other bonuses. Now that Battlefield 3’s major post-game support has finally reached its close, did Premium live up to expectations?"

Xbox Live One Day April Sale

Microsoft and Major Nelson have revealed the titles that will be available in today’s one day sale on Xbox Live.

To be honest, the sale is a tad disappointing. The oft discounted Fallout 3 expansions are all there, as well as the already cheap Dishonored Dunwall City Trials.

However, the Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass is decently cheap and gives you access to all of The Tyranny of King Washington content. Likewise, the penultimate Battlefield 3 expansion, Aftermath, is also at a great price.

What a joke.I can get the full games cheaper on the internet. And,the Fallout 3 dlc is ridiculous. No one is playing that anymore.

LycanSoldier4192d ago

Nothing too appealing.
Fallout DLC is alright if you have't played em!

I'd really love to see some more Games on Demand sales at good prices. Those were the kinds of sales that were almost as good as Steam.

Battlefield 3 Premium Part 2: Armored Kill and Aftermath

GamingLives takes a look at the Battlefield 3 expansions Aftermath and Armored Kill.

"When Battlefield 3 was first released it provided players with an atmospheric and detailed theatre of war with the high quality you would expect from the series. One of its strongest selling points was the vehicular combat, large open maps and the extra layer of strategy that this combination brings to the table. It came as little surprise then, that one of Battlefield’s expansion packs would focus on expanding an already diverse complement of vehicles and providing even bigger maps for budding soldiers of war to exert some strategic flair over large open terrain. At least, that would be the plan if you could get enough competent people to form something resembling a team, which unfortunately isn’t the only problem with this ambitious extension into open warfare, because for every smart and intuitive new feature, there will be someone or something that tarnishes its impact."
