Touch Arcade: As a precocious teenager, I had an irrational fear of the police. Every time I saw them, my hands started sweating as a fetid pit of anxiety grew in my stomach. As a functional member of society today, this fear has largely dissipated -- a speeding ticket is no longer the end of the world as I know it, and I don't tend to keep company with recreational drug users (much).
AppSpy: Heads up! Hot Dogs is a game where you have to balance hotdogs on the heads of strangers that pass by, and stop as many of them hitting the ground as possible. That's pretty much it.
John Bedford (Modojo): At the beginning of this month, we reviewed publisher Adult Swim's latest madcap mobile game Heads Up! Hot Dogs. We've since spoke to the two designers behind this surreal title, Emmett Butler and Diego Garcia, to discuss their inspiration for the game, working with Adult Swim, and where the duo are headed next.
TouchGen: You know the expression raining cats and dogs used when it is raining profusely outside, well this is kind of dogs raining. A game with such a premise is sure to come from the lunacy asylum, or rather from Adult Swim. This is one of my favourite publishers, as they continue to innovate while retaining a tongue in cheek attitude. With a backlog consisting of Robot Unicorn Attack, Monsters Ate My Condo, Extinction Squad and Bring Me Sandwiches they have perfected the art of casual gaming. Heads Up! Hot Dogs, or HU!HD is the epiphany of this struggle for perfection.
