GR: Despite everything planned for us, all I wanted to do was play Need For Speed: Most Wanted. I was looking forward to Criterion's game, even more so considering how much I enjoyed their previous Need For Speed title, Hot Pursuit. As bored as I had grown with racing games in general, Criterion seemed to hit a nice middle ground between three of the genre's tenets.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted is still iconic mainly due to its corny storyline, its superb gameplay, and the unforgettable BMW M3 GTR.
After nearly three decades of NFS games, here's a list of the best Need For Speed titles that have ever been released in the past years, ranked by The Nerd Stash.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted debuted in 2005, with the Xbox 360 version being the first then next-generation title in the franchise.
This game was awesome! I remember reloading my save if I didn’t get the pink slip from my blacklist rival
Holy crap I've been ignoring this so long I didn't even realize it was one of "the ones where the cops chase you."
That's all the info I needed. Sold.
I would be sold as well if CRITERION GAMES was not making the title they're HOTPURSUIT was disappointing good lord it reminded me tooooo much of Burnout Paradise. spirit of NEED FOR SPEED is not in criterion format. in each game the spirit of "BURNOUT" reigns in all their racing games.
no thank you!!!!!
Hot Pursuit was the best Need For Speed game built for this gen.
Sorry people but the original Most Wanted was a port.
