There’s a new Resident Evil game. It’s hard to ignore that, unless your name is Mega Man, six is kind of a lot. Sure, there were detours into Zeros, Codes: Veronica and those light gun games nobody plays, but time has marched on and those numbers after “Resident Evil” continue to rise. The slow forward march of the series’ narrative has officially taken its toll, and the stakes have never seemed lower.
A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment
GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.
The modern entertainment industry has witnessed the rise of the Resident Evil franchise as one of its most renowned and celebrated multimedia phenomena. With numerous video games released across multiple platforms, it can be daunting for newcomers to determine where to commence their journey. So here is every main mainline Resident Evil Games ranked.
In preparation for the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake, let’s take the liberty to rank each of the mainline story instalments, providing players with a fundamental comprehension of the Resident Evil universe.
After playing for most of yesterday I think two things should have been fixed prior to releasing....
1.) Way too many quick-time events that RIP you right out of the game. They are way too frequent for anyone's enjoyment.
2.) The inventory system is anything but convenient and is actually counter-intuitive to the gameplay itself.
There are other issues and such (not being able to pause online, camera issues, lack of ammo, etc.) , but all and all I'd say that this game isn't nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.
I like the skills customization option, the game looks pretty good and it's been an enjoyable ride for the most part. I can see why hardcore RE fans are mad, but it appears to be better than RE5 (to me at least).
I picked it up today and have been playing it for a few hours now, I'm enjoying it, yes it has a few issues like the camera etc but I think it's good. But then I don't tend to listen to reviews much I play what I want and make my own mind up
