Latest Borderlands 2 Golden Key Shift Codes Out Now

Not a whole lot to say besides here are the latest Shift codes from Gearbox for use in Borderlands 2. These will allow you to get one key, and will last from approximately 6pm CDT to about 8pm CDT. This is 4pm PST to 6pm PST, or 7pm EST to 9pm EST, covering the more common time zones.

Some people don't want to use twitter. Is it a crime to want to get full use of our games without having to use 3rd party services to do so?

How exactly is the chest part of "full use"? You were given one for just joining shift and offered another as part of the preorder bundle. Anything else is just extra and with all the "glitches", "Cheats" and side methods to make 1 key last forever, it really doesn't stop you from making that 1 key full use. Perhaps they should have included them in game, I mean eridum becomes useless over time and money never really had a use in Borderlands, but this =/= any real part of the game.

I completely agree. I got screwed on those damn keys. We all know it's just loot but it's amazing loot I'm gonna have to grind another few hours to get. Not to mention I'm from the uk and the times these things are available are rarely social hours. Couldn't they just email them to members as a thank you instead of being like "EAT YOUR GAME CONTENT FROM OUR HANDS! MWUAHAHAHAHAHHA".

Seriously Pitchford keep that stuff to the bedroom or public library and just at least consider that the entire world does not run on America's clock. There are other countries fast asleep when this stuff is going on and it's nice to keep waking up every morning seeing a nice pre-order bonus already picked clean and used, it's bitter corpse lingering in headline articles on n4g and "we're sorry this code has expired" errror messages reminding you that you're three hours late to the party.

Okay let me define full use. There is a chest in the main town of a game I purchased. That chest is unlocked with single use "Keys". I can only earn these "keys" by doing out of game activities aka not playing the game. There is no means provided to players to earn these keys in game. Seeing as how I purchased the game I feel I should be able to play the game and earn use of the in game item. Then if you want to throw out bonus keys all the better. I'll just play twice as hard to earn my keys by beating bosses or whatever.

I liken it to this. Lets say you PAY for a round of laser tag at your local Fun-n-stuff. You get into the arena and realize that there is a platform behind a door that leads to a great sniping spot. Problem is that you need to enter a one time code to the door that you can only get by going to Tacobell drive thru between 11pm and 11:55pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You're playing on Tuesday and even if it was the right time and the right place you would have to leave, drive somewhere else and come back and hope your match still had a few minutes left for you to play.

Eh, I fail to see your point. If you're willing to farm bosses "twice as hard" for vault keys, but refuse to for legendary weapons? The chest is meant to be a "get out of jail free" card and nothing more. If you want good loot, you're meant to work for it. Thats really the beginning, middle and end here.
