Luckily for Vigil and THQ Darksiders 2 is the latter. They have taken the first game and improved upon everything to make this a worthy sequel worth your money and time, and time you will need since there are well over 20 hours worth of fighting, grinding and exploring to be done in the vast lands. In fact you’re looking at 20 hours just to play through just the main story alone.

Darksiders 1 is a complete game but it’s obvious with Darksiders 2 they ran out of budget after the Ice world and the game just becomes a poorly paced mess.
