XLC Gaming Network writes: When we get sequels to games, developers either miss the mark or they hit it and it becomes bigger and better than the predecessor. Luckily for Vigil and THQ Darksiders 2 is the latter. They have taken the first game and improved upon everything to make this a worthy sequel worth your money and time, and time you will need since there are well over 20 hours worth of fighting, grinding and exploring to be done in the vast lands. In fact you’re looking at 20 hours just to play through just the main story alone.
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, despite being another re-release, shows that Darksiders II is an incredible game that deserves more attention.
Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.
