Ultimate Alliance 2 is great fun if you have friends who want to plat coop! :D

Pintheshadows4714d ago (Edited 4714d ago )

I liked it Ultimate Alliance but I actually prefered the X-Men games they did in the same style. I can't remember the name but I played one of them religiously on my PSP. I think it was X-Men Apocalypse.

Yeah it was. X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse.

Had the first one on Gamecube come to think of it.

Yeah, I played JL Heroes as well. It was good. I hope we see a few more games like X-Men Legends, Ultimate Alliance and JL Heroes as that type of game works great for superheroes.

MoonlightRambler4714d ago

Justice League Heroes wasn't bad either, which is near the same thing but with DC characters.

Jallen4714d ago

I never realised just how many Spiderman games have been made over the years!

MoonlightRambler4714d ago

I couldn't fit near all of them into the article(s)

Spider-Man and the X-Men
Spider-Man: Lethal Foes
Spider-Man vs. the Kingpin
Spider-Man: Web of Fire
Spider-Man: The Animated Series
Spider-Man Arcade
Spider-Man 1-3 (Gameboy)
Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menance
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

And I'm pretty sure I'm still missing a few with that list.

Jallen4713d ago

You're definitely missing just plain old 'Spider-Man', I own it on the Dreamcast. It would be in the avoid section.

No One Lives Forever 1+2 is on Internet Archive for free.

https://archive.org/details...

Torrents are there. I actually have the original CD's from NOLF 2, never going to part with them.😁

Cacabunga108d ago

3D Dot Game heroes. Good luck

__y2jb108d ago

I have this. Never even realised it had become rare.

staticall108d ago

@Cacabunga
While i have a disc with the game, i was able to find it on a torrent ru tracker with at least 3 people seeding right now and it was downloaded 450+ times.

I wouldn't send a link (so i wouldn't get banned). But, i think, torrent or P2P are probably the last mostly reliable way to find old games no one cares about. I was able to find «Fable» there. Not the Lionhearts' Fable, but very old point-n-click adventure.

RaidenBlack108d ago

Need NOLF Remaster from Nightdive.

PRIMORDUS108d ago

NOLF 1+2 remaster for me = instant buy

Abnor_Mal109d ago

I still have my PS3 copy of Spec Ops, Battlefield Bad Company 1&2 & Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1/2.

Planning to replay those and a few others, but the controls feel so loose now compared to modern games.

Chocoburger109d ago

Change the title to: Amazing Games That Have Been Abandoned by Stupid Publishers Who Don't Care About their Legacy, so You Should Pirate and Enjoy them.

Okay, maybe that title was a bit too long. 😅

NotoriousWhiz108d ago

Amazing abandoned games that you should ARRRR.

DafunkyRebel109d ago

I missed out on the chance to buy BFBC1 on Xbox and I just want to kick myself silly. One of the best PS3 experience of my life. The feeling, impact, sound design of this game was leagues better than BF games that followed

TorpeAlex109d ago

Pour one out for Transformers Devastation

isarai108d ago

I lost my physical copy in a move, it still bothers me to this day 😅😔

Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem

RavenWolfx426d ago

Yeah, I loved the Legends games so much.

ZeekQuattro426d ago

I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.

Knightofelemia426d ago (Edited 426d ago )

Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.

Terry_B426d ago

It got a sequel..but for dumbass #reasons as a switch exclusive.

shinoff2183426d ago

It looked so horrible to. They should've kept it similar to the first two.

Asplundh426d ago

Because Nintendo funded it, they did the same for Bayonetta.

Knightofelemia426d ago

I totally forgot about the Switch sequel.

MasterChief3624425d ago

I thought it looked awful, but I actually fell in love with it. To this day one of my favorites on the Switch.

jukins426d ago

Misleading. This page is whats available for people who owned the game prior to delisting.

MasterChief3624425d ago

Yeah I'm kind of miffed about that headline. But the information in the article does give me a little hope. I really want to play these games on the PS5! I would assume if Activision actually is planning on relisting them on the Xbox Store, it would be relisting them on the PS Store as well?

Abnor_Mal426d ago

The first game was the best imo.
