Joystiq- Shawn McGrath, creator of PSN-exclusive tunnel shooter Dyad, exits his workplace – a house in the north side of Toronto – and lights up a cigarette. The rental home is lined with out-of-control weeds McGrath steps over to lean against his car, which sports novelty license plates with a leet variation of the word "hacker."
That was a high school decision, he admits.
Inside the house is a sanctuary for his art, a game McGrath has been working on for years. Dyad, which will be launched tomorrow, was the culmination of a dream McGrath once told himself was dead before reclaiming it with the help of friends; a group deeply rooted in the development of Toronto's burgeoning independent game scene.
Hardcore Gamer - This week’s Steam sale has gone live and it’s one of the best ones offered up in quite a while.

Hi everyone! We’ve got a serious Flash Sale for you over the next couple days, with more than 20 games available for just $0.99 each. The Flash Sale starts right now, so head over to PlayStation Store and snap up some awesome games to play this summer.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I wasn't completely won over by Dyad from Right Square Bracket Left Square Bracket. Don't get me wrong — I totally appreciate that the developer took a risk and attempted to make something vastly different from a lot of what's out there. That said, it was hard for me to fully enjoy what Dyad had to offer because I simply didn't think it was deep or rewarding enough.
