Ultimately this DLC does two things. One is that it gives the spoiled, unappreciative fans what they ask for, a new ending. And at the same time it’s a superfluous, superficial upgrade, completely unnecessary and almost, as far as I feel, given to them to try and shut them up in the easiest way possible, because the ending shouldn’t be changed.
One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

I pity those who waste their time reading such insufferable garbage.
Care to maybe expand your vague complaint there :)?
While I agree fans had a right to be upset, and that creatively, the ending was in poor taste and rushed, I do believe how the masses handled it was immature in their criticism. However, the same can be said for those who unquestioningly supported Bioware and attacked the disgruntled fans using words like 'entitled' incorrectly.
So you're not entitled to criticize something you've paid $60 for? Yeah...the author can eat one...hell...maybe even two.
Mass effect 3 was great until the last ten minutes or so when the entire franchise has been building up this granduer of choices the maing focus of the mass effect games choice was thrown out the window you want to descide the fate of the galaxy choose red blue or green in fact they said that it wouldn'ent be that way, fans were just had their hopes up to high, the extended cut dlc does it justice alot are saying if this were were the original ending all this commotion would never have happend, although i felt it lacked two things one your galactic readiness still lacks importance and their wasn't really any individual character screens you know stuff like garrus becoming a general or Liara working with the prothean to uncover more prothean articfacts and other people but i suppose im just asking too much i mean i was kind of happy with the reject ending in which i would have preffered that The Normandy crew escapes and sleeping into the next cycle and when they wake the the offspring of Sheperherd and his or her love interest or if you were homosexual im sure an alternative would be present such as adoption or an escapee from the their cycle and as they go into the new cycle the new shepherd is trained by uncle garrus, taught by liara and basiclly has a child- teenager - adult stage this way Bioware can introduce new races for the new cycle perhaps have the Yagh, basiclly he is raised by sheperds team they then try to convine the current cycle to turn towards the next reaper harvest in which they do all sorts of missions as sheperds gets his own crew and a new Normandyor different ship that is naturally superior to the Normandy this using all the technology gained from their war with the reapers, so lots of tech, this also allows for a better exploration method by making each planet like a dungeon for example skyrim your have the roads the mass effect 4 equivelint is space you travel from planet to planet and find information a town perhaps or doing actual side quests not overhearing someone then going to scan a planet then fly back this quest system of course should be better then the one in mass effec 3, This is just a dream but the setting for this sounds cool to me.
