I read somewhere that said this is the first Lego game to feature voice acting. The reviewer at GameSpot who gave this a 6.5 never said one word about that. If true, that's a pretty significant improvement dontcha think?
The thing is, there's no denying that this is the first game in the series that has actually tried to do something different to what they did with "Lego Star Wars: The Video Game".
Sure, Lego Harry Potter added a free-roam aspect to the game, but it never really felt like a great addition.
You can't give a game that features Clancy Brown anything lower than an 8...
