BioWare - Mass Effect 3 Executive Producer Casey Hudson, Lead Writer Mac Walters, and Community Manager Jessica Merizan discuss the Extended Cut - a downloadable content pack that will expand upon the events at the end of Mass Effect 3. Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Extended Cut will include deeper insight to Commander Shepard's journey based on player choices during the war against the Reapers. The Extended Cut will be available to download at no additional charge on June 26th* on Xbox 360 and PC and PlayStation 3.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.

Lol... While he is right on some points on why people were so upset with the ending, I think he overlooked one of the biggest issues that people have: godchild. Sure, the lack of closure really sucks, but the plotholes hurt more. Lots and lots of plotholes... destructive ones. Still, it's something at least. Looking forward of it, 1.9gb sounds promising. Here's hoping.
I'm not replaying ME3 until the extended cut DLC is released. I did'nt mind the end that much, I just did not like the fact that all my war assets were for nothing.
I'll reserve my judgement till I play.
