For several years now, many within the gaming community have speculated and fuelled rumours of the next console generation and when this next generation can be expected. Some say that this year’s E3 will reveal to the world the new Xbox 720 and an insight into Microsoft’s future in console gaming. Many have seemed to forget that Nintendo’s next generation console, the Wii-U, will be released this year. Many experts in the industry have said that this current console generation could be the last generation which will see consoles on top of the gaming food chain.
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
This is not the first time that Bless Online receives a server merge in Korea. An announcement was made on the official Korean site.
Bless must be an amazing game to be on all these platforms (according to the tags): iPad iPhone Nintendo DS PC PS Vita PS2 PS3 PS4 PSP Wii Wii U Xbox Xbox 360 Xbox One
if you add up last gen console sales and then add up this gen console sales, you'll find that they have increased in sales.
Doh, because of mobile gaming: tablets, iPhones, app stores.
decline?? im sure more people are buying consoles now a days than last generation. almost everyone has a 360 or ps3 and has a little sister who has a wii catching dust
Console numbers are slowing down and PC numbers are speeding up. Im no rocket scientist, but seeing how this generation is finally past its prime i would say some people are reaching for greener pastures.
I might not bother buying anymore consoles after this generation myself. I will keep my PS3 and my 360, but I will probably buy all my next generation games on my PC through Steam. Theres a possibility that I might buy a PS Vita down the road, but other than the exclusive Playstation games, I can't see the benefit of buying a next generation console at this point in time. Who knows, maybe I'll be a late adopter next gen after the prices go down.
