Vanquish is a one of a kind, its unique and is totally different from other third person shooting games. It never gets boring as the gameplay is fun because you feel so powerful and fast, and the game throws something big at you out of the blue which makes your heart pump. In the game, you take contol of Sam Gideon in the futuristic world, who wears a special suit called A.R.S, which has the ability to boost with amazing ecceleration and speed, slow mo to help you destory your robots enemies to pieces and you can also melee, but make sure not to over use these ability as your suit will overheat meaning you have to wait for it to recharge. You can hide behind objects to cover and shoot but thats not the fun way to play the game, JUST BOOOOOST!!! The game takes around 8 hours to complete.The game doesn't have multiplayer, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have replay value, after each act you unlock challenge mode which is one of the most addicting mode I have ever played, challenge mode will take you a while to complete as it is bloody hard!…It is like Gears of War but faster, more technical, the way that you change weapons is awesome, the fact that you can upgrade them is great too.
The first BIG ROBOT it took me time to figure it out how to kill the bastard and when I got it you have to kill him in steps so it was a thrilling-duck-shoot-hide-shoo t 30 minutes battle...Fantastic!
Graphics are beautiful and no lag at all. The story get you in the action and the characters have their own different attitudes.
Overall, I fully recommend it....you know what actually is funny is that I was waiting for a game like this, back in the time of PS2 one of my favorite games was Zone of the Enders which is as fast and exciting like this game, the difference is that ZOE is a High Tech Flying Mecha which I will keep playing to see if SAM can fly at some point, that will be awesome...

The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)

Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.

We all know not every game franchise can live on perpetually. Let's look at five games that have vanished and, hopefully, nudging the universe in a direction that brings them back.
I heard Doug Tennepal recently released a comic book of Earthworm Jim, my wish maybe he can find an indie dev or creat a studio himself that could make another Earthworm Jim game but I'd personally want it in the retro style of the first two games.
The Strike series needs to be rebooted. Vehicular games in general (excl. Arcade and Racing Sims & Kart style games) need more lovin.'
Renegade Ops was great but didn't quite scratch the itch a Strike game would.
Ten years after its release, Vanquish from Platinum Games remains a wholly unique action game, and one of the best experiences in the genre.
