Zenless Zone Zero has a wide array of unique characters. Each character belongs to a Faction and has an Attribute, Speciality, Type, Tier, and Rarity. But, besides those “technical” details, they have unique looks, ranging from pure Humans to more animal-human hybrids. Concerning the latter, the most animal-like characters are an anthropomorphic bear and a wolf, and they are widely raised by the community as one of the best. It is a fact that fans would love to see more of them.
Fans Praise the Design of Existing Furry Characters
The fans are absolutely thrilled with how Mihoyo did Ben Bigger of Belebog Heavy Industries and Von Lycaon of Victoria Housekeeping Co. Both the bear and the wolf offer some compelling gameplay and great design (just like everything in ZZZ). And now, thousands of fans are sure that adding more characters just like them is what the game needs, as seen in a Reddit thread started by The_Weeb282.
They stated that more “Furry” characters would be great since they did such an awesome job with these two. User adogbehindakeyboard said: “Genuinely their designs are so good. Id love to see a big cat someday “ and Amazing_Marzipan115 added: “Yeah they did a good job with [mafia] bear and butler wolf.”
It looks like Lycaon takes the spotlight since the majority of comments are praising his design. For example, Distinct_Charge9342 said: “They actually [did great] with Lycaon’s design im obsessed” and itsDoor-kun added: ”Same. I was never really into furries but Lycaon is an exception.”
There Is a Lot More To It
Of course, there is a lot more to it than just adding more anthropomorphic animals. A lot more work has gone into both Ben and Lycaon, as HappyHateBot put it: “I’m on board so long as they make sure to ship the whole package – Ben and Lycaon have very solid designs, but they also have fairly fun/interesting playstyles, great personalities, and good relationships with the rest of their team (where they fill valuable niches). They are not just a checklist item, they are a total package experience. “
It is a fact that fans are craving more animal characters. Let’s just hope that, if they do add more, they are done in the same manner as Ben Bigger and Von Lycaon.
