Performing a backflip and jumping backward is an easy task in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Press the ZL button to lock on, and then press A to jump while holding back on the left stick. Link will jump backward, which is a helpful ability while traveling and in combat. In particular, this is effective while fighting because Link can perform a Flurry Rush with a well-timed jump backward.

To perform a Flurry Rush in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will need to perfectly time your backward or side jump as an enemy attacks you. This slows down time, and Link can rapidly strike the opponent. This allows you to deal heavy damage to enemies, especially with the Master Sword, and sometimes defeat them in a single instant. My timing with Flurry Rush was a little rough in Breath of the Wild, so if you are like me, feel free to practice on weak enemies like Bokoblins.
