Back in 2015, Monolith Soft, a subsidiary of Bandai Namco and best known for their Xenoblade series, released Xenoblade Chronicles X for Nintendo Wii U. It is the second major title of the franchise, set in a separate universe from the rest of the Xenoblade series. “The year is 2054. Earth has been destroyed by an intergalactic war between two alien races, and humanity is on the brink of annihilation. A small number of survivors, aboard the USS White Whale, crash land on the vast and untamed planet Mira. Now, it falls to you, as a member of BLADE, to help bring humanity back from the edge of extinction….”
And now, in 2025, an expanded remaster (called Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition) is about to be released for Nintendo Switch.

The official release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is Thursday, March 20, 2025.
This version will be only available for Nintendo Switch.
It will be available in both physical and digital versions, both priced at $59.99. You can already pre-order the game on Nintendo’s website.
