Will Spider Man 2 Have A Bigger Map?

Just one more day before Marvel’s Spider Man 2 is officially out and you want to know if it will have a bigger map? Check out below and get the answer to this burning question of yours.

The first game gave its players a massive world to play on as it featured an open-world New York where they could freely explore every corner of the Big Apple’s digitized iteration. With the upcoming release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, fans are wondering if Insomniac Games can top what they’ve delivered in 2018.

Does Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Have a Bigger Map?

Yes, it will feature a bigger map. This has been confirmed by Insomniac’s Creative Director Bryan Intihar during an interview with Famitsu back in June. Intihar revealed that they’ve added the counties of Queens and Brooklyn in the new game making its map size twice as massive as its predecessors.

He went on to state that they’ve cooked up “some unexpected situations” that they haven’t done before in their previous titles. One of them is the river battle between two cities which Intihar stated is something to look forward to.

Switch Freely Between Peter and Miles

Meanwhile, Game Director Ryan Smith also revealed that aside from a larger map size, players can switch freely between Peter Parker and Miles Morales. However, this is only limited to exploring the city since there are parts within the new game where it is requisite to play using a certain character.

Additionally, since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be introducing the symbiote into the game, Smith revealed that this too will feature new move sets like the ability to attack multiple enemies simultaneously. He went on to state that with the evolving actions that were also included in previous games, Smith believes that the power of Peter’s living suit will stand out.
