Once players meet the Castaway, they need to bring him back to Little Marrow, the settlement opposite the starting town of Greater Marrow. If players can get him back to Little Marrow, he’ll give them the Signet Ring as a reward.

What Is the Signet Ring Used For In Dredge?

There’s really only speculation on the actual use of the Signet Ring due to its obscure nature and lack of apparent effects. The official description reads:

  • A ship’s wheel sigil is emblazoned proudly on this ring. Such a symbol is sure to bring good luck any captain that holds it.

The item’s description has led some to keep it in storage until another use comes up or more information is discovered. Others have noted that they traveled with it and didn’t notice an increase in luck or any changes at all. It can also be sold to any merchant or trader for $90, which may be the true purpose despite the trolling description.
