Dredge is a fishing adventure game hiding darks secrets. Go out on your trusty boat in search of fish to catch, and see what else may be out there in the ocean depths. The game will have players catching a number of different nautical creatures, but one of the more difficult to find is the Aurora Jellyfish.

Necessary for progressing the main story, all players will need to catch the Aurora Jellyfish at one point or another. This guide will help players catch the Aurora Jellyfish quickly, so that they can grow closer to figuring out what exactly lurks below.

Dredge – Where Are Aurora Jellyfish?

The Aurora Jellyfish can be found at the Stellar Basin. However, they only appear during the nighttime hours.

Players will need to be careful as they go out in search of the creature. The middle area of Stellar Basin is home to a large sea monster. Boats that get too close will find themselves crushed in no time. Players should stick to the outer areas as they search for the glowing jellyfish.

What Will Players Need To Catch the Aurora Jellyfish?

Players will need the Trawl Net to catch the creature. This tool isn’t unlocked immediately. Players will first need to unlock the Trawl Net by using Research Parts to research the tool. Once players have this available, they are free to travel into the Stellar Basin and catch the Aurora Jellyfish.

What Is the Aurora Jellyfish Used for in Dredge?

The Aurora Jellyfish is used to complete a request made by the Research Assistant. Once players have caught this fish, along with the Firefly Squid and Glowing Octopus that can also be found in the Stellar Basin, they can return to the Research Assistant at the Old Fortress. This will get players a step closer to being able to investigate the dangerous middle area of Stellar Basin.
