The moment all Valorant players have been waiting for is almost here. In preparation for Season 9 Act 2 of Valorant, the developers released patch notes. Spoiler alert – it looks like this next Act is going to be epic. Players are extremely excited for the star of the next Act.
Patch Notes for Season 9 Act 2 Are Here!
On August 28, a Moderator posted an announcement with patch notes on the official Valorant Discord channel. It stated: “Valorant patch notes 9.04. Vyse will be released to regions in a staggered rollout starting from 8/28 at 1 PM PT. Adjusted tactical timeout rules in Premier/Tournament modes. Behavioral manual evaluation. Split enters Unrated/Swift Play queues (console)”.
Of course, the Moderator posted a link to full patch notes, as well as an image with all of the highlights for Season 9 Act 2 of Valorant. Also, as a reminder, Valorant has introduced one important change recently. So, all the goodies from the game will go live the day after the update. Don’t worry if you update the game and everything stays the same, as it’s supposed to.
Valorant Players Unite in Asking for What They Need
As you may have suspected, Valorant players had a pretty positive reaction to the patch notes for Season 9 Arc 2. Most of the players can’t wait to try out Vyse, others were happy to see some QoL changes. However, that doesn’t mean that the Valorant community is backing up on all the issues they want to see fixed.
First of all, many console players reported experiencing the same issue. One of them, sonofdeepvalue, noted: “I know I’m not the only one still experiencing issues connecting to voice chat on console. But, I haven’t seen it mentioned in any known issues list. I feel like it’s a decently widespread issue, especially in Competitive”.
Current_Education659 stated: “They released the patch and opened up the weekly XP as well for this act already without the Battlepass/New agent. If I play & complete Weekly XP today it will go to waste coz the new BP isn’t active. This rollout makes no sense”.
Overall, the player base is satisfied with this patch, but they are relentless in asking for what they think the game needs. As they should, if you don’t ask for something, you’ll never get it. So, stand with your community and let your voice be heard. That is, until the changes hit the game, then show your fellow players what you’re made of.
