Along with a new Battle Pass and most importantly new Weapon, Episode 8 Act 1 brings us a new Map Rotation. If you are interested in finding out about map rotation in Valorant Episode 8 Act 1, we got you covered. The constant rotation of active duty maps gives developers time to update maps that are out of the pool. Clearly, this is a good thing and it keeps the game engaging and feeling fresh. This is a common practice, and Riot Games has done this in previous Episodes and Acts. This leaves us to wonder what is the map rotation in Episode 8 Act 1 of Valorant.
- The perfect gift for anyone who plays VALORANT or trying it out for the first time
- Unlocks in-game currency that can be used to purchase weapon skins and unlock new agents
- Gift cards are redeemable on Riot accounts in the US only
Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 Full Map Rotation
Since the active pool of maps in Valorant changes with new Episodes and Acts, some maps will always replace others. Importantly, maps that are returning to the active pool often undergo some changes. This is true in the case of Icebox and Lotus in the current rotation. Both maps underwent major changes, especially Icebox which is returning to the map rotation after a longer period. With that in mind, the following maps are in the Episode 8 Act 1 map rotation:
- Ascent
- Bind
- Breeze
- Icebox
- Lotus
- Split
- Sunset
Maps that are not in current Map Rotation
Being that there are only seven maps in an active rotation in Valorant, some maps are left out. Nevertheless, knowing Riot Games, they are already hard at work updating these maps, and we can expect their return at a later date. This will probably be in the future Episodes and Acts. But for now, these are the maps that are not in Valorant’s map rotation:
- Fracture
- Haven
- Pearl
