Valorant Best Fracture Agents – The Top 9 Agents To Play

It has been some time since Fracture was added to Valorant. However, even now it’s reasonable for newer players to ponder over who are the best Fracture agents in Valorant. After all, it follows a very unprecedented map philosophy. With a four-quadrant split nesting the defenders at the very middle instead of one extreme of the map. So, let’s break down the best agents you should be playing on Fracture.

Best Controllers on Fracture

Brimstone and Viper are the best Controllers on Fracture. Specifically, Brimstone is the best Controller on Fracture for single-Controller drafts, whereas Viper is essential to have for double-Controller drafts.

Brimstone is currently the only Controller with a maximum of three Sky Smokes at his disposal at any point in time. On attack, you can perform better splits than you would with a Controller like Omen/Astra. For instance, instead of splitting A Main and Dish with Omen/Astra (since you can only smoke off Ropes and CT Spawn). You can smoke all three chokepoints and run it down through Sands and A Main with a Stim Beacon.

Moreover, three smokes translate into longer stalling on defense. By playing in CT Spawn, you can easily smoke off any choke point on both sites. Then quickly pair it with an Incidienary due to the unusually short CT rotation time on Fracture. His ultimate ability, Orbital Strike, is also powerful on retakes as it can effortlessly cover the A and B default plant spot and power positions like A Drop and B Tower.

Viper

A double Controller draft compromises on a Sentinel slot, which is why Viper becomes necessary due to her Controller-Sentinel hybrid kit. She can comfortably anchor sites with her Toxic Screen and Poison Cloud, funneling Snake Bites to keep enemies at bay. Moreover, pairing her ultimate, Viper’s Pit, with a shotgun will scare enemies off into rotating more than half the time.

On attack, since her Toxic Screen can not be retrieved, she will be useless if your team calls for a rotation instead of committing to the intended site. As such, it’s vital to pair her up with another controller, such as Astra. As Astra can reinforce map control and pull off sneaky lurks on slow rounds.

Best Duelists for Fracture

Raze, Neon, and Jett are the best Duelists for Fracture. Each Duelist brings something different to the table and, as such, can not be compared amongst themselves in this context. So, just pick whichever of the three you are most comfortable with.

Raze

The race to map control makes Fracture stand out from the rest of the maps, which synergizes with Raze’s kit very well. Aside from clearing out close corners with her Boom Bot. She can quickly force the enemy off powerful angles like B Tower, B Generator, A Default, and A Top Site with her Paint Shells, on both site-takes and retakes.

Moreover, should you learn how to use her Blast Packs effectively. You can zoom into power positions like B Tower from Arcade or A Site from Dish and take massive space for your team. This is made easier with her Showstopper ability.

Neon

Fracture is one of the few maps where Neon shines. She can force quicker engagements, rotate faster than most, and dodge plenty of start-round utility when in High Gear. Moreover, she is the easiest to entry-frag with due to the cover provided by her Fast Lane. It can neatly be paired with her Relay Bolts to concuss any enemies on site.

Lastly, it comes as no surprise, but her ultimate ability, Overdrive, is a cheat code if you can move around sporadically while keeping your crosshair roughly on the enemy – an easy clutch ability.

Jett

Jett is a well-rounded Duelist who can efficiently function on multiple maps, especially Fracture. Her ability to dash onto the site with Tailwind is a given. However, when paired with Updraft and Cloudburst, it allows Jett to make powerful entries. Such as B Tower from Arcade, A Site from Dish, and A Ropes from Sands.

Lastly, Jett’s ultimate ability, Blade Storm, remains as formidable as ever, proving to be a bit better on Fracture due to interesting updraft spots, such as from B Canteen and A Ropes. Lastly, on defense, don’t forget to pick up an Operator, as it can get a pick just about everywhere (Arcade, Dish, A Main, B Main) at the start of the round.

Best Sentinels for Beginners

Cypher and Killjoy are the best Sentinels for Fracture. Due to the nature of the map, there are plenty of choke points to contest and two flanks to hold down, making their autonomous utility a must-have.

Cypher

Cypher is a more defense-centric Sentinel on Fracture if that’s what you’re into. On defense, Cypher’s setups are practically endless. You can always fool around with sneaky Tripwires and be rewarded safely as you spam through your Cyber Cages.

On attack, his Tripwires can hold down flanks from both extremes of the map. While his Spy Cam can get crucial intel on a bomb site, clearing angles so your Duelists don’t have to. Due to the limitless range of his utility, he is the best agent to lurk with, getting picks and snapshotting enemy positions with his ultimate, Neural Theft, for immense map control.

Killjoy

Although not as defensive as Cypher on Fracture (although her setups are still solid). Killjoy makes up for it with her contribution to the attacker side. Her Turret gets the job done by holding down flanks, gathering information on flankers as soon as they start pushing up. Moreover, her Nanoswarm and her Alarmbot cement post-plant scenarios as long as you trigger them timely.

Lastly, her ultimate, Lockdown, although good for retaking, is even more daunting on attack side. Placing her lockdown underneath B site or on A dish easily forces defenders off the site. This allows you to quickly take over the site and start preparing for securing the round.

Best Initiator for Beginners

Breach and KAY/O are the best Initiators for beginners. Breach is practically a must-pick on Fracture, whereas every piece of KAY/O’s utility is very impactful to have on Fracture should you opt for double Initiator and single Duelist draft.

Breach

Breach has the highest pick rate on Fracture due to his triumphant utility. His Fault Line can stun the narrow corridors of A Halls, B Main, and Arcade for early map control, and many players generally consider his Flashpoint as one of the game’s best, most team-safe flashes.

His Aftershock is tailor-made for this map as it can quickly force attackers over default plant spots on both sites. Lastly, his ultimate, Rolling Thunder, is a force to be reckoned with on site-takes and retakes as it can cover both sites entirely!

KAY/O

KAY/O gains all the more value on Fracture with the prevalence of Sentinels like Cypher and Killjoy. On defense, the threat of Suppression with his ZERO/point either leads to easy site-takes or forces players to play off-site. Moreover, his flash, FLASH/drive, is perfect for both pop-flashing through smokes and flashing for teammates from afar – Counter-Strike players will particularly enjoy using this utility.

KAY/O’s FRAG/ment is a versatile molly players use as a personal map control, post-plant lineup, stalling on defense, and much more! Lastly, his ultimate, NULL/cmd, covers both sites, effectively initiating site-takes and retakes.
