Hard Infiltrations are all the rage now. Added in the second Season 1 Update, on October 10, they are the hardest “end-game” content currently in the game, and the players love it. You can test out all your strongest builds, fight hordes and enemies, and farm for some useful items. Speaking of farming, since everyone’s favorite little robot, ETA-0, arrived in Albion, you can get some Standard ETA Vouchers from those 400% Infiltrations. The Vouchers usually drop from bosses so the amount you can get is limited. Or, is it? Farming bosses in The First Descendant can be time-consuming, but players found a cool trick that can help everyone, especially in those Hard Infiltrations.
“Eliminate the Boss and Respawn” This Trick Makes Farming Bosses in Hard Infiltrations a Breeze in The First Descendant
If you plan on farming bosses in Hard Infiltrations, in hopes of getting some Transcendent Mods or ETA Vouchers, then there is a neat trick that can help you with that, squeezing everything there is from a single run. One player, Nikodem103 on Reddit, shared that when you get to the boss room with two bosses, getting killed after eliminating the first boss resets the whole battle and lets you keep the items you already picked up.
“When you enter the boss room in the dungeon, you can focus on killing one boss. After that, grab the rewards and let the other one kill you. This makes you respawn in front of the boss room. After that you can repeat, kill one boss and die to the other after picking up the rewards. Keep in mind you can only do this till your deathcount limit. Now this might not be as efficient if you want other rewards from the dungeons too, but if its a longer run, and all you care about is the ETA vouchers, this becomes very efficient and less time-consuming.”
This way, you can get the boss rewards several times before you hit your deathcount limit, practically increasing your farming effectiveness by 300%. As some players noted, we can’t know if ETA-0’s prices will be the same as last weekend or raised (we already had complaints that the 600 Voucher limit is not enough, so Nexon may very well change the overall prices), so it’s better to stack up on as many Vouchers as you can, just in case. The trick also works for Transcendent Mods (and any other item that only drops from bosses), making it a very efficient farming method.
Everyone agrees that this is only effective when going solo. If in a full group, every member has to go down for the fight to reset, which means that you can effectively repeat the fight only once. Compared to the six or seven repeats you can usually have when going solo, this is anything but effective.
