The Luck Store is a temporary addition to the game, added for the Lunar New Year festivities. It is where you exchange 2025 tokens for some neat rewards (mostly cosmetics). A new batch of items just dropped in the Luck Shop and, surprisingly, The First Descendant players kinda like them.
Nexon has been adding various events, giveaways, and special shops for a while now. We saw various holiday events offering free stuff, attendance events, and more. With the Lunar New Year in Albion, we got daily and weekly rewards, for completing some simple tasks. The rewards are special 2025 Tokens, which you can bring to Anais and exchange for some holiday-themed rewards. We all know that some TFD fans are hard to please, but this time, it looks like the cosmetic items offered are pretty cool.
New Year’s Luck Shop Has Some New Items to Offer
On January 30, Nexon posted that some new items will now be available in the Luck Shop. Those items are:
- Fan (Back attachment) – 40 Tokens
- Blue Snake (Emote) – 40 Tokens
- Martial Arts (Emote) – 40 Tokens
- Lucky Bag (Chest Attachment) – 40 Tokens
- Supply Lion (Spray) – 20 Tokens
They will be available for two weeks, that is until February 12. Of course, all the other items, like Catalysts, Shape Stabilizers, etc, are available as well.
The new items are all themed around the Lunar New Year and look very pretty, and the fans surprisingly agree. “The fan is gonna be used by absolutely everyone by virtue of it being the only free back attachment that isn’t dorky…” said Granhier, and “It’d be awesome if there were Dragon Dance and Lion Dance skins for our doggy. such a missed opportunity!” added Pd69bq. The Martial Arts is the group Emote we saw in the Lunar New Year showcase.
Unfortunately, the game is a little dry at the moment. The update with Ines was great, but the hype was short-lived. Hopefully, Nexon will make some serious adjustments, to keep the players engaged. Cute cosmetics are all well and good, but they won’t keep the game afloat.
