With all the updates and improvements of XP gains in TFD, the infamous weapon leveling was left behind. One of the most despised aspects of the game, weapon leveling is still considered the worst chore in the game. Players everywhere looked for a way to speed up the process, and some even found an extremely efficient method of doing so. But, even that may not prove necessary, as Nexon finally did something about the weapon XP gains.
A 50% Weapon Proficiency Boost in Infiltration Operations
Starting from September 12 and lasting until Wednesday, September 25, all TFD players will have a 50% boost to their Weapon XP gains, but only in Infiltration Missions. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. To be more specific:
- 50% Weapon Proficiency Boost will be applied when defeating an enemy in Infiltration Operations regardless of difficulty during the event period.
Another great move by Nexon. While not a permanent solution to the whole Weapon leveling issue, this will surely help every TFD player out there. And two weeks is quite enough time for everyone to make the best use of this event.
More Daily Challenges
The Weapon XP boost is not the only event Nexon released. Daily Tasks are back, also in that same timeframe: September 12 – September 25.
- Complete 4 Regional Missions (Normal or Hard) – 100,000 Kuiper Shards
- Complete 2 Void Intercept Battles (Normal or Hard) – 100,000 Kuiper Shards
- Complete 1 Research – 20 Fine Adjustment Control Axis
- Complete 1 Infiltration Operation (Normal or Hard) – Descendant EXP Gain +30% (5 hr)

As you’d expect, every TFD player is thrilled with these events. “Wow more bangers from you guys. These are the kind of events we want to see!” said Zero_ocxo, and “They can’t keep getting away with this! Our devs are based.” added KeJlbT.
We knew that Nexon listens to player demands and usually does something about it, but they’re really spoiling us with this. Who knows what awaits us in the next major Update?
