“The Finals Isn’t Dead” Fans Support the Game Amid Grim Rumors

Best PC Graphics Settings for The Finals

Every game has its ups and downs, especially the games that have been out for a while. If there hasn’t been a patch for a while, the players will take a break, but most of them will return immediately after an update. Of course, some doomsayers will use the short-lived drop in the number of players and blow it out of proportion. Currently, The Finals community is fighting against rumors and allegations that the game is dead.

The Rumors Aren’t True

Recently, there have been many reports of The Finals “dying” all over the internet. Supposed players and connoisseurs are using their own platforms to spread misinformation and slander. Because of this, some devoted players tried their best to inform the community of the game’s true state.

Don’t worry, it seems that The Finals isn’t in grave danger of any kind. Even though there are some issues, the players are already looking forward to Season 4. As you probably know, the lack of new content has been an issue lately, but the developers’ dedication to the in-game details more than makes up for the flaws.

Even the players who are aware of all the issues praise The Finals. No-Upstairs-7001 admitted: “Content is slow, Seasons are too long and the Light class remains broken. But, I still play it every night”. This player isn’t alone, not even by a long shot.

At the time of writing this article, according to Steamdb, there are more than 8000 players playing The Finals. In the last 24 hours, the peak number of players was 13294, which is a lot for a “dead” game. Especially considering this is the number of players on Steam only, on a random Wednesday.

The Finals Players Explain How They Know the Game Isn’t Dead

Thankfully, The Finals players were quick to defend their favorite game from the rumors that insisted it was dead. They noted that all the proof they needed was the time it took to find a match. One player, menofthesea, noted: “It’s not just decent queue times. They’re fast as f**k, even in weird off-hours. Always <1min for me”.

Sensitive-Farmer-643 stated: “People are far too bitter and negative nowadays. The Finals is not even remotely dead. I think the fact that it’s a free game with no P2W stuff really helps people stick around and become acquainted”.

As for why there are so many allegations that the game is dying, we can’t know for sure. The most probable reason is just human nature. Most people will spread rumors about things they don’t like or don’t even understand in some cases.

If you do like playing The Finals, don’t worry, this game is doing perfectly fine. So, pick your favorite build, and see you out there. We’ll be the ones running around with a Flowerpot. Enjoy the game.
