It is like we expected! The long-awaited Oblivion announcement has just ended, and the devs revealed the information we all waited for. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster has been released today!

The original The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released years ago and has captured the hearts and minds of players everywhere. And when rumors started spreading that a remaster is on the way, the gaming community was beyond excited. The last few days were especially chaotic, as one half of the community was adamant that the game would be shadowdropped, and various other leakers and insiders confirmed it. On the other hand, the other half were skeptical, saying that Bethesda is only pulling our legs here. It even went so far that some players vowed to eat a photo of Todd Howard if those rumors prove true. And now, all the rumors and claims, and skepticism can be laid to rest as the devs gave us an official announcement.

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remaster Is Really Getting Released Today

On April 21, Bethesda announced that a livestream concerning The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would be held the next day, ie, on April 22. And now, during the livestream where the devs talked about the remaster, what their focus is, how much they gave their all to stay true to the original game while updating it for modern platforms, using UE5, they ended the first half with the information everyone was waiting for.

You can already get it on Steam and other similar platforms. It is priced around $54.99 for the Standard Edition and $64.99 for the Deluxe Edition (including DLCs and extra cosmetics).
