Looking for an answer as to how bleedout works in Texas Chain Saw Massacre? Look no further. Keep reading for an overview of the condition as it relates to your survival in the game.

Mirroring the characters and events of the 1974 horror classic, Gun Interactive’s Texas Chain Saw Massacre tasks you with taking on the role of a victim or member of the murderous Slaughter family in an asymmetrical multiplayer format. As a victim, you’ll face off against three killers at once, making your escape from the property all the more challenging. What’s more, you can’t simply wait out the horrific ordeal by hiding, as your pre-existing wounds put you in danger of bleeding out. Let’s take a closer look at the issue to find a remedy.

How Bleedout Works in Texas Chain Saw Massacre

When you first enter a match as a victim in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, you’ll be reminded that your condition is deteriorating, even before taking damage from the Family members lurking about. As time goes on, your health will continue to worsen, upping the stakes. You can monitor your health and stamina as they appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen, indicated by a heart and two bars.

The heart icon changes color depending on the state of your overall health, ranging from red to orange and grey. While red signifies that you’re about as healthy as you can be under the circumstances, orange is cause for concern, as it indicates an accelerated loss of health. As grim as the outlook may be at this point, the worst-case scenario is reaching the gray area, wherein your character is on the verge of bleeding out.

As your health rapidly declines in the grey, your character will collapse, forcing you to take a moment to rest. Eventually, you’ll begin to leave a blood trail, giving away your location and placing you in direct danger, especially if Grandpa has received a buff. To prevent your condition from deteriorating to the point of bleedout, you’ll need to quickly make your escape or heal up to buy some time.

How to Stop Bleeding in Texas Chain Saw Massacre

You can temporarily heal and stop the effects of bleeding out by locating healing drinks throughout the map in Texas Chain Saw Massacre. These will effectively buy you some extra time to escape the Family House, Gas Station, or Slaughterhouse, and prevent a blood trail from forming if your health has significantly deteriorated.

However, the benefits don’t last long. Once your time is up, your condition will continue to worsen and you’ll proceed to bleed out if you haven’t taken the proper precautions to rest and heal up en route to the nearest exit. As you play TCM with friends, be sure to choose the best character and plan the most efficient escape route to ensure your survival.
