How to get Mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

To get mounts in Jedi Survivor, you must progress through the story campaign until you enter Forest Array, where an encounter with a fascinating creature called a Relter awaits you. This flying creature plays a significant role in this section of the story, as it allows Cal to glide. During a flashback cutscene, Cere imparts her knowledge to Cal, teaching him new tricks and unlocking the Tame ability.

The Tame ability is a special action that allows you to interact with and tame, friendly creatures that are part of story progression. This new ability is impossible to miss and has to be unlocked to progress through the rest of the story.

Relter

I won’t mention the Relter much, but this creature allows Cal to glide and get to places otherwise impossible without outside aid. You cannot fly with this creature, only glide as you slowly descend. Later in the story, air vents allow the Relter to get some height.

Nekko

The Nekko is a ground mount that can be obtained after clearing the Forest Array segment of the campaign. It features sturdy legs that provide stability while traversing sloping paths, ensuring Cal doesn’t slide or fall. Do you remember all those watery paths etc.? The Nekko will help you traverse those areas.

That is not all, the Nekko also allows you to engage in mounted combat, and you can double jump off the Nekko to get to new areas.

Spamel

Once you reach the deserts of Jedha, you will meet the long-legged creature. Essentially, the Spamel is the same as the Nekko but just on a different planet.

Jedha Flying Creatures

On Jedha, you will encounter these flying creatures, and very much like the Spamel, these are akin to the Relter. Their job is to glide you from a higher to a lower place.

That is all the mounts you can get in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. But you can unlock something else. However, since it’s a massive spoiler, we won’t include it in this article. We’ll give you a hint, though. It isn’t alive.
