While exploring the planets of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you’ll no doubt encounter red objects that you can’t seem to do anything with. Using all of Cal’s force abilities did nothing, and I was perplexed. However, red is common to mean it’s inaccessible at the moment; move on. So does it mean this in Jedi Survivor?

How To Touch Red Objects in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Yes, red means in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that you do not have the force ability to interact with the red object. This means you have to take a mental note of the location and planet, as you’ll have to return here at a later date when Cal or BD-1 has more abilities up their sleeve.

When you encounter these, there is nothing to be done; expect to move on and return when more abilities have been learned. This may take a few hours, or it may be two-thirds of the way in the game. But you will get an ability at some point. So if you are after the 100% percent completion rate for each section of a planet, you will naturally return anyway.
Jedi Survivor’s progression has you return to countless planets anyway and, no doubt, have something you didn’t have before, allowing you to explore more. Rarely will you have to go out of your way to return to a planet just for one thing. Typically, if you do this, the next story beat will be returning to the planet you just left—Sod’s law.
You’ll encounter many of these red objects as you progress through the main story of Jedi Survivor. But you’ll no doubt face more as you explore the open-world areas, ignoring the main objectives as I did. Keep a note of them, but do not stress; you’ll return to places naturally and have fun while doing so.
