When Is the Next Skull and Bones Beta?

Will Skull and Bones have another Beta run, and when will the next one be? Read on to see what we have gathered.

Are you also gearing up for some pirate-themed adventures in Skull and Bones? Set to be released in February 2024, you’ll take on the role of a pirate adventurer in search of fame and fortune on the high seas. You can fully customize your ships, and the weapons they carry, and even have a ship pet, like a cat or a lemur. Moreover, you can bring some friends along, as piracy is always better with friends. Skull and Bones already had a couple of Closed Betas and the results were great. Fans are already asking for more, so let’s dive into that. Will there be another one? When is the Next Skull and Bones Beta? Let’s find out.

Will There Be Another Skull and Bones Beta?

An Open Beta has just ended, so we highly doubt that we will get another one before the official release. Right before the official release, Ubisoft opened its docks for everyone. From February 08 until February 11, both PC and console players had the opportunity to try out Skull and Bones for free.

What Is Included in the Last S&B Open Beta?

The official content and plot listed for the last Open Beta was quite similar to what it was in the Closed Beta. “Located within the Red Isle is the pirate den of Sainte-Anne. Ruled by John Scurlock, the local Kingpin you’ll deal with as you start your rise to the top of the pirate world. This Den is a safe zone where you can interact with other players, craft your ships, weapons, and equipment with the help of the skilled craftsmen who have made this place their home. You’ll be able to access your warehouse to store loot, repair your ship, sell the commodities you liberated from rich merchants, and more.”

But, for those who made progress already during the Closed Betas, Ubisoft says: “While you might have discovered the Red Isle and the Coast of Africa during one of the previous Closed Betas, you will now be able to cross over the Open Seas and set foot in the East Indies. Explore the Red Isle, Coast of Africa, Open Seas as well as the East Indies during this Open Beta to meet the different factions present in-game and face them peacefully or turn against them in combat.”

As far as we understood, any progress you made in the Betas will transfer when Skull and Bones officially goes live.
